SSDI/SSI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR)
The struggle to meet the basic needs for food, shelter, and health care can be extremely difficult, especially when a person suffers from various physiological and/or psychological issues. The Financial Health Program at Catholic Charities can help those trying to obtain benefits in taking the first steps on his or her journey towards self-sufficiency and financial freedom.
The SSDI/SSI Outreach, Access, and Recovery Program, also known as SOAR, is designed to assist persons through the application and disability determination process for Social Security Administration (SSA) disability benefits. By assisting with the SSI/SSDI application process from steps one to step 6, we can ensure that basic needs are met.
How Much Does It Cost?
SSI/SSDI application services are FREE through the generous support of your local United Way, the annual Bishops Appeal, and other donors.
